Yes, there is no access to God without Thanksgiving and praise. We can be thankful and be in the grace of God. Our praise need to be in proportion to God’s greatness. By Thanksgiving we acknowledge God’s goodness. By praise we acknowledge God’s greatness. By worship we acknowledge God’s holiness.

The book clarifies that prayer is not just asking God to meet our demand list; but it is more than that. More than what? It is written in the book in a simple language. The phrase that Prayer is not one musical instrument, it is the whole orchestra with different instruments, mentioned in the book is Heart Throbbing. We understand from this passage that Thanksgiving, prayer and worship are the three instruments of prayer and they should go in unison.
